Overview
Learn how to position for the changing operating environment, and move up the value chain.
The course will cover key management concepts and management trade-offs in operationalising strategy. Through case examples of MNCs in Asia, and Asian SMEs, we will derive key lessons for how to position for the changing operating environment, and move up the value chain. Group project work will involve application of frameworks and brainstorming on transforming company supply chains and creating appropriate supply chain organisational structure.
At the end of the course, participants will learn:
- Impact of macroeconomic factors and new technologies on supply chains
- Strategic and operational considerations when going overseas
- Supply chain transformation by companies in Asia
- Preparing your supply chain to support company overseas expansion
