Data analysis, in particular, is playing an increasingly crucial role in all perspectives of business decision making. Python is one of the most popular analytical programming languages for data analysis, due to its high readability and active developer ecosystem.
Through a series of case studies and hands-on exercises, this course will provide you with the fundamentals of Python programming (such as variables, data types, control structures, functions, and more), together with basic analytical skills including:

- Data cleaning and management
- Data visualisation

This course will address the basics of Python programming and simple numerical analysis:
- Scraping data from websites
- Data cleaning and preparation
- Exploring patterns and trends by descriptive analysis and data visualisations
Case studies and practical exercises are provided throughout this course to demonstrate how the skills set above can help to gain business insights from data to solve real-world problems.

No programming experience is required. Participants are expected to bring their own laptops (Win or Mac) with Anaconda (free individual version) installed.
